Regina Biggs is a highly accomplished and compassionate healthcare professional with a remarkable journey that began in Panama City, FL. Her impressive career has been marked by a deep commitment to serving her communities and inspiring others to pursue their dreams, regardless of the challenges they may face.
Regina’s healthcare journey began in 1993 when she started as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Recognizing her passion for nursing, she advanced her career by becoming a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in 2006, specializing in Surgical Ortho and Neuro Units. Her thirst for knowledge and desire to make a greater impact led her to pursue further education, and in 2013, she achieved her goal of becoming a Registered Nurse (RN). She continued to elevate her expertise by earning a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) in 2017 and furthered her studies at the University of South Alabama, where she is in the process of obtaining a master’s degree in Emergency Family Practitioner.
Throughout her career, Regina has worked in various critical areas of healthcare, including Trauma Emergency Room, Intensive Care Units (ICUs), Labor and Delivery, Pediatric units, and Cath Lab. She has shown her exceptional leadership skills by serving as a charge nurse in the Emergency Room of Grady Memorial Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma center. Regina’s commitment to patient care and dedication to her profession have taken her across the United States, working as a Travel Nurse in California, Texas, Illinois, Colorado, Tennessee, Washington DC, Minnesota, Maryland, and Georgia.
Regina’s outstanding contributions to patient care and her colleagues have not gone unnoticed. She has been nominated three times for the prestigious Daisy Awards, a testament to her exemplary nursing practice and the impact she has made on those around her. Furthermore, Regina’s dedication to her profession led her to serve as a COVID crisis nurse during challenging times.
Beyond her role as a healthcare provider, Regina is deeply passionate about inspiring young women and men to pursue their dreams and overcome any obstacles that come their way. Her values encompass compassion, leadership, teaching, guiding, listening, and constantly learning from her experiences.
Currently, Regina is pursuing a new direction in her career, focusing on Virtuous Medical Spa and Anesthetics. Additionally, she aspires to become an author, using her experiences and wisdom to share valuable insights with the world.
